A Few Things You Should Know Before Purchasing A Greenhouse
Before you run out of your house or jump online and start buying a greenhouse there are a few questions you need to answer before you even start shopping let alone commit to a purchase.
What Size Greenhouse do you want?
Before you even start looking at greenhouses you need to consider how much room you have for a greenhouse in relation to how big you want it to be.
If you are looking for a luxury conservatory then you are looking at getting a really big greenhouse. Otherwise, 8 by 6 is a very popular size for people who are looking to take up greenhouse gardening as a hobby. They are not too big, but not to small and they do not require a foundation.
But do not commit to fast because that is a very small greenhouse and most newcomers usually buy too small only to realize they needed a lot more space for what they wanted to grow. Which brings us to:
What are you going to grow in your greenhouse and for how long?
If you plan on using your greenhouse to plant all year wrong you may also have to consider how you are going to heat your greenhouse in the winter when the freeze comes in. It will also be helpful if you know if you are going to be growing primarily food products like vegetables or using it for growing flowers and foliage. The person you are buying from can likely point you in the direction of some little extras that will likely help you with your greenhouse venture if you know exactly what you are growing.
